Ages are determined with reference to 1 July 2027. The organizer may adjust the available categories based on registrations received, notifying affected participants with sufficient advance notice.
Pre-registration and registration process
Pre-registration for MOD 2027 is completed through the form available on the website. Pre-registration does not imply a financial commitment or guarantee a place until the definitive registration is completed.
Definitive registration involves:
- Completing the official registration form provided by the organizer.
- Accepting these Competition Terms and the full event rules.
- Paying the registration fees within the stated deadline.
Registration fees will be published on the website with sufficient notice. The organizer will not issue refunds in the event of withdrawal or expulsion due to non-compliance with the rules.
"Ease Your Moments" Contest: Schools wishing to participate in this video contest may qualify for a free event entry. The free entry is independent of the standard registration process and is subject to the specific contest terms published on the website.
General participation rules
- All performances must be original choreographies. Plagiarism of other routines will result in disqualification.
- Music used in the performance must comply with applicable copyright regulations. The participant is responsible for obtaining the necessary licenses.
- The use of pyrotechnic effects, hazardous materials, or costumes that could damage the Auditorium de Palma stage is prohibited.
- Participants must adhere to their assigned performance schedules. Absence at call time results in automatic disqualification.
- Disrespectful behaviour towards judges, organizers, other participants, or spectators may result in expulsion from the event without a refund.
- Minors must have the express written authorization of their parent or legal guardian.
Evaluation system and jury
Performances will be evaluated by a professional jury appointed by the organizer. Evaluation criteria include, among others: technique, creativity, musicality, teamwork, and stage presentation.
Jury decisions are final and not subject to appeal. No claims regarding scores awarded will be entertained.
The Premium category incorporates an element of public audience voting, which complements (but does not replace) the professional jury's score. This voting is an engagement tool and does not constitute an independent official ranking.
Real-time scores will be displayed at the Auditorium during the event. Final results will be published on the website's Results page.
Image rights and recording
Registration for MOD implies the free and non-exclusive transfer to A.D.U.B. of the right to photograph, record on video, and disseminate performances for event promotional purposes (website, social media, historical archive).
Each participating group will be offered a professional video of their performance as part of the event service.
The participant guarantees that they hold the image rights of all dancers in the group and, in the case of minors, the authorizations of their legal guardians.
Safety, liability and insurance
The organizer will adopt reasonable security measures at the venue. However, A.D.U.B. does not accept liability for injuries, damages, or losses that participants or their companions may suffer during the event, except as provided by applicable law.
It is recommended that each school or group have their own public liability and accident insurance covering travel and their stay.
Modifications and event cancellation
The organizer reserves the right to modify dates, venue, categories, or any aspect of the event due to force majeure or circumstances beyond their control, notifying registered participants as soon as possible.
In the event of total cancellation of the event due to the organizer's fault, registration fees paid will be refunded within a maximum of 30 days.
